The Best of Thailand Blog (8): We are happy to inform you

Yes, dear people, the long-awaited booklet The Best of Thailand Blog is in production. We corrected the proofs and the printing press is up and running this week.

Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but we are very satisfied with the result. The booklet is well worth the price of € 14,95 (600 baht).

We owe this primarily to the eighteen authors, who selected their best stories, and furthermore to the final editor and producer Free Musketeers.

As soon as the booklets have been delivered to Joseph Jongen in Zaltbommel, buyers in the Netherlands and Belgium can order the booklet. You can read how to do that on the page Order method. In the ad on the homepage, click 'Order now: click hereand that page opens. Now it still saysAvailable soonr', but when Joseph has the booklets at home, we change the text.

Buyers in Thailand will have to wait a little longer, because three Thailand visitors will take the booklets with them in their (hand) luggage in mid-August. We do this to avoid having to pay import duties. You can already order a booklet. On the page Order method tells you how to do that.

We hope that the booklets will sell like hot cakes and that we can transfer a nice amount to Operation Smile Thailand after deduction of costs.

Finally, two more news. Ambassador Joan Boer has promised to receive the first copy. Further announcements about place and date will follow. And author Hans Geleijnse has called on his co-authors to refuse the free author's copy offered and to pay for the booklet. The first has already promised that.
