Good news for everyone who wants to travel comfortably from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok to Hua Hin journey. This is possible from November 29 with a VIP bus.

Of course you could already take a taxi, minibus or train, but for the latter two you first had to travel to Bangkok city. Most minibuses depart from the Victory Monument. In addition, you are not comfortable in a minivan and you can hardly store large suitcases. For the train you first have to go to Hualamphong, the train is slow and takes more than four hours.

Airport Hua Hin Bus

The new bus line is called 'Airport HuaHin Bus' and is operated by Roong Rueang Coach. You can board on the first floor at Gate 8 at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Do you want to go from Hua Hin to Suvarnabumi? Then you can board on Phetkasem Road at Soi 96/1 (Sombat Tour) near the Bangkok Hospital.

The price of a one-way ticket is 305 baht for which you will be transported to Hua Hin in three hours in a large comfortable air-conditioned bus. Bus tickets are for sale at the boarding points.

The bus departs five times a day according to the following schedule:

For anyone who wants to travel to Hua Hin, this is a welcome addition to the existing offer.

That doesn't look bad at all, I'll definitely try that out and let you know how the trip went.

    Ask your;
Does this bus also stop in places like Phetchaburi and Cha Am? That would be an even greater outcome for many.

also try it, seems ideal instead of taxi or mini van, and if the price is right we will certainly do that!

Wouldn't it be nice if you could somehow book a seat on that bus in advance? Suppose you arrive at the airport after a long journey and there appear to be more passengers than seats on that bus – wouldn't you also like to be sure that you can indeed take that bus and don't have to wait for the next one? It seems to me that there is a need for that.

Totally agree, seems very annoying to me too.
Would also like to know if there is anything that can be done about it.

Great, this is the connection I've been waiting for for a long time…. Last week I almost took a taxi… I went via Victory Monument anyway. Uncomfortable, but cheap…
Will it be fun? Everyone on this blog who lives in Hua Hin or nearby will take this bus.. can we get to know each other personally…

This is very fantastic news, but agree with one of the previous writers, what if the bus is full by the time you arrive with your bags…..

Would anyone who is going to Hua Hin before April 18 email how the trip went, and whether the return trip from Hua Hin to the airport also goes without problems (delays)??

    Thank you kindly in advance,

    Sandra Koenderink

If the bus is full when you arrive, you will most likely not be able to come along and then you will have to rely on your self-reliance to reach your destination, before the bus started driving, didn't it?
This is so typically Dutch, you must be able to book and reserve everything and of course it must also run according to a fixed timetable and let us not forget that it must be possible to reach it, at least by telephone.
Where has our sense of, a little, adventure gone and what has happened to the ability to respond to unforeseen events?

Very good news indeed, just a pity that there is no way to make contact. By phone or by email. Hopefully this will come soon. And it would be perfect if the bus stopped in Cha am. Maybe readers from Hua Hin can find out?

I just googled, this company also runs on Pattaya and I assume they use the same conditions. So unfortunately this bus cannot be booked in advance.

    So you can book!
It's very complicated, but I managed to do it in the end.

I hope everyone is happy now?

That's good news, Klaus. It is nice to know in advance that after at least twelve hours of flying you can board the bus for the last part of the journey.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I am 100% satisfied with this new service. Friends had asked in advance whether the bus also stops in Cha am, unfortunately not, but when I asked myself when the bus left the airport, this turned out to be no problem. So neatly stopped in Cha am and gave some baht as a thank you of course.
Furthermore, a good bus, great spacious seats and a good driver. There were still about 5 places left.
