We have been to Thailand several times but never to the Erawan waterfalls. So just visited this one. We arrived early and enjoyed the peace, beautiful nature and of course the waterfalls.

In short, worth it in our opinion.

The Erawan Waterfall is a popular tourist attraction in Kanchanaburi. The waterfall is named after the Erawan elephant, a mythical elephant from Hindu mythology. The waterfall is located in Erawan National Park and consists of seven levels, each with its own pool. The water is clear and there are many fish to see. There are also many hiking trails around the waterfall and in the park as well as facilities such as row boat rentals, electric bicycles and camping options. It is a popular place for swimming, walking and enjoying nature.

Very nice climb up very much enjoyed it. I do have 1 tip .. take water with you but not the disposable bottles that you can buy there because they are not allowed. .Bring your own drinking bottles and fill them with water that you buy there. They do this to prevent litter and I fully support that. Erawan is a must if you are in Kanchanaburi.
