A nice day trip from Bangkok is a visit to the Erawan National Park in Kanchanaburi. The nature park is especially attractive thanks to its many waterfalls. The park is a beautiful destination known for its natural beauty and diverse flora and fauna. Established in 1975, the park covers an area of 550 km² and is named after the three-headed white elephant from Hindu mythology.
