The commemoration of the late King Bhumibol last Sunday on Dam Square in Amsterdam was well attended. From Thailand blog reader Sander, we receive a number of photos and a link to a video recording.

The commemoration was organized for Thai and other interested parties to commemorate the monarch who died on October 13. There was a lot of interest in the gathering as it seems from the images.

There were a number of speeches and a banner paying homage to the beloved king was displayed. Many carried an effigy of the king.
