Dear readers,

We have made an unforgettable bike ride accompanied by an expert guide with Cha-am Cycling Tours and would like to share it with you. After all, Cha-am has so much more to offer than just the beach. This tour does exactly what it promises, which is to show the original Cha-am.

The start is at Mum Bistro in Cha-am on fine and comfortable bicycles, easy to ride and adjust. After a short introduction we go out. An explanation follows about the function of storage houses and on the way to the impressive fresh market with many products from the region such as vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. Tasting was also possible, in short too much to mention.

After the coffee break, we cross the old Cha-am, visit a local family and cycle past the cows, songbirds and roosters on our way to the peaceful rice fields with the beautiful birds and the unique landscape. On the way to a hidden Buddha cave where you have a beautiful view of Cha-am. We visit an impressive teak temple and are updated on the Buddha teachings and what is involved.

Finally via the picturesque station, the school community with detailed explanation back to Mum bistro where a delicious lunch awaits us.

This relatively unknown bike tour is accessible to everyone, including children. It is an absolute must for those who visit Cha-am/Hua Hin and want to see more of the area.

  1. Guus says up

My wife and I also participated in this bike tour two weeks ago. At first we had doubts. Wouldn't it be too far? And, there isn't that much to see in Cha'am, is there? We are now very happy that we did it. Because of the many stops it was certainly not exhausting, but what is even more important: we came to places where you would never go. A very fun and varied programme. Moreover, great cycling and a delicious lunch at the end. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see something more than just the beach. My advice is: do it! Have fun, Guus
