'The village in the fog' – Mae Hong Son
Mae Hong Son also known as 'the village in the fog', located in a green valley. Mae Hong Son is still that real piece of Thailand that many people are looking for.
There is plenty to explore in the area, such as the 'fish caves', waterfalls, Burmese-style temples and various hill tribe villages. The authentic culture has been well preserved here and is clearly reflected in the architecture and friendly people. The local population is a rich mixture of hill tribes. There are the Thai Yai, the Karen, the Lahu and the intriguing Palong population.
The charm and serene tranquility in Mae Hong Son create a perfect atmosphere of tranquility. A holiday in a true paradise!
