1. Travel documents and visa
If you go on holiday to Thailand, always make sure you have a valid passport with you to identify yourself. If you try to enter Thailand with a damaged passport, you risk being refused entry. Please note that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the time you leave Thailand. Please note: if you have dual citizenship, you must leave Thailand with the same passport you entered with.
From April 1, 2023 you can enter Thailand without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days. Upon arrival you will receive a stamp in your passport with the latest departure date. Make sure that it is entered in your passport and that it is correct. There may be conditions, such as showing a return ticket or an onward ticket that indicates that you will leave Thailand within 30 days. If you want to stay in Thailand for more than 30 days, you must apply for a visa. You can do this through a e-visa (info in English). 2. Insurance
Always make sure you have a good one Travel Insurance that covers extra medical costs, such as repatriation and hospitalization.
