2013 Hua Hin Jazz Festival
The famous Jazz Festival in Hua Hin will take place again this year. Last year the Jazz Festival was canceled due to organizational problems and lack of interest.
From May 31 to June 1, the event will be held in Hua Hin for the 12th time. This coastal town has continued the tradition of the past when the king regularly came here for holidays and his great passion: jazz. At that time, jazz musicians from all over the world were invited to jam sessions at his beach palace or at the nearby Hua Hin Railway Hotel.
Decades later, the Royal City of Hua Hin has revived this tradition with an annual jazz festival.
This year will focus on Asian jazz instead of Western bands. About 15.000 visitors are expected. Entrance is free.
