Just 300 km from Bangkok is the island of Koh Chang (Chang = Elephant). It is the ultimate beach destination for true beach lovers.
I heard from an acquaintance, who is currently on Koh Chang, that the beach of White Sand beach has been swallowed up by the sea for a very large part. At low tide there is only a little beach left, but in the evening no more patio tables/chairs are placed on the beach.
