I have lived near Pattaya for more than 12 years. It is now a gigantic crisis in Thailand and I am afraid it will only get worse. I see people on the street who have nothing to eat, we try to help as much as possible by handing out food in our neighborhood. What worries me is the future. Poverty and hopelessness can easily lead to hatred towards (rich) farang. I am also afraid of a big rise in crime.
