The port of Khao Takiab near Hua Hin is a lively place where the fish is brought ashore and you can even taste it fresh daily in the many restaurants at the port.
A shipyard near Pattaya
There are so many nice and unknown places in Pattaya that it is worth mentioning. Pattaya was known as a fishing town and several stories have been written on the blog where fresh fish is available in the market. Well known is the fish market on the Naklua Road.

The Thai navy has taken more than 8.000 fishing boats out of service because the owners failed to register.
Indonesian navy destroys Thai fishing boats
The Indonesian navy recently blew up 37 fishing vessels, including a number of Thai boats. The authorities strictly monitor illegal fishing in the country's territorial waters.
