Agenda: Mother's Day celebration with steam locomotive ride from Bangkok to Chachoengsao on August 12
In celebration of Mother's Day on August 12 and the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is organizing a special train journey with historic Japanese steam locomotives. This trip will take travelers from Hua Lamphong station in Bangkok to Chachoengsao province.
Reader question: When will the old steam locomotive run on the River Kwai railway line?
Does anyone know when the museum steam locomotive makes the trip on the River Kwai Railway? I think it was December, but I'm not sure.
Train enthusiasts in Thailand will have the chance to take a unique steam train ride from Bangkok to Ayutthaya on Sunday, March 23.
