On some Thai highways speed limit from 90 to 120 km
The Ministry of Transport is going to increase the maximum speed for passenger cars on a number of highways from 90 to 120 km. The measure is expected to be published in the Royal Gazette in early April.

The Chiang Mai Minibus Drivers' Association has petitioned the Provincial Transport Office against GPS speed detectors and in favor of a higher speed limit.
Police want higher maximum speed on Thai highways
The Thai police and the Ministry of the Interior are considering a plan to amend the law in such a way that the speed limits on the highways will be adjusted from 90 km/h to 110 km/h. In built-up areas, the maximum speed should be reduced from 80 to 60 km per hour.
Speed limit to 50 km for some back roads in Bangkok
Bangkok police have set a speed limit of 50 kilometers per hour on eight roads in downtown Bangkok. These 50 km zones must become the new standard for road safety.
