The most famous Siamese twins come from Thailand - then Siam - which also gave rise to the expression Siamese Twins. The two brothers Eng and Chang became celebrities in Europe and America in the 19th century.

Fourteen descendants from the US of conjoined twins Eng and Chang Bunker made a 10-day visit to Thailand. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the famous twins were invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Thailand in connection with 185 years of Thai-American relations.
