Starting your own business requires a lot of perseverance and energy. Especially Dutch entrepreneurs who set up a company abroad often face extra challenges. One of these entrepreneurs is Ricky Hundman, owner of patisserie Choco-Melt and restaurant The Green Parrot Hua Hin in Thailand. In honor of the day of the entrepreneur on November 16, Ricky is put in the spotlight and she talks about her experiences with entrepreneurship in this country.

Choco Melt is a start-up Dutch company in Hua Hin that makes birthday and wedding cakes. But Ricky Hundman, owner and for the time being the only employee, has more to offer, because she has also built up a good reputation with other Swiss/Dutch pastry specialties such as moorkoppen, Bossche bollen, vlaaien, apple and carrot cake, Sachertorte, Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte in and around Hua Hin.
