Army commander Prayuth Chan-ocha dismisses speculation about a military coup, but the Internal Security Command is not ruling out the possibility of martial law being declared.

Emergency is allowed, but the sting is out
The emergency ordinance was not revoked by the civil court yesterday, but the five judges have attached so many conditions to it that the government is almost empty-handed.
Protesters disrupt elections in 83 constituencies
Of the 2 million eligible Thai voters who wanted to vote in yesterday's primaries, 440.000 were unable to do so because protesters blocked polling stations.
