Buffalo Bay a hidden harbor in the Andaman Sea
Buffalo Bay is a pristine beach on Koh Phayam in Ranong province. It's hidden gem in the south. It's like going back to Thailand in the 70's.
Now visit the mangrove coastline of Bangkok/Samut prakhan
Large "nature park" with a new concrete cycle/pedestrian path (roughly estimated: approx. 8 km long, so bring a bottle of water!) to the coastline (until the sea), right through the mangrove crop and past numerous fish ponds. Really very nice and nice, and now still quiet.
Thailand wants the Andaman coast on Unesco World Heritage List
The Thai cabinet on Tuesday approved the proposal to nominate a coastal area on the Andaman Sea, which is already a recognized nature reserve, for inclusion in the provisional list of Unesco World Heritage Sites. The proposed site runs through Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket, and also includes six national parks and one mangrove swamp.
