WHO: 80 percent of young people worldwide exercise too little

WHO: 'More than a quarter of adults do not exercise enough'
The World Health Organization (WHO) is concerned that a quarter of the world's population does not get enough physical activity. Despite attention to this problem, the situation has barely improved since 2001.
Thai children spend an average of six hours a day in front of the TV and do not get enough exercise. Most children spend thirteen hours a day playing with their mobile phones, watching TV and using the computer. This has been shown by studies in 2014 and 2015 from the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University.
