Question to GP Maarten: When do I need dialysis and cramps and itching due to kidney problems?

My name is H. I am 78 years old, 1,67 m tall and weigh 74 kg. Two years ago I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. I also have type 2 diabetes and an irregular heartbeat. I do not smoke and drink 0,6 liters of beer daily.
I have lost the entire thyroid gland and am on medication for that now. It's going well, can eat and drink anything and don't suffer from the heat here. But now I get so much cramp in the legs and feet. The medicine I have is Eltroxin which works well but do I have to take something for the cramps. And what should that be in the Netherlands I got calcium.
