Reader question: Where can I buy imitation branded bags?

An acquaintance of mine told me that in Thailand it is becoming increasingly difficult to buy imitation branded bags such as from Michael Kors, Chanel and Calvin Klein. That would be because the police hunt harder for sellers. But I would like to buy a nice bag when I go to Thailand in two months. Does anyone know where I should be?
