The Dutch are going on holiday en masse this year with tablet and laptop. The tablet and e-reader in particular are displacing the familiar book and magazine.

Curfew expires nationwide; tablet PC program deleted
The military authority doesn't let any grass grow over it. The curfew, already lifted in 25 tourist areas, will expire and in September the military authority will hand over the country's administration to an interim government. It is also over and out for the tablet PC, which all primary and secondary school pupils would receive.

EU wants to allow the use of gadgets on planes
It's nice when you can use your tablet, e-reader or smartphone continuously during your flight to Thailand. Now this kind of electronics must be switched off during take-off or landing. That will soon be a thing of the past. The EU wants to allow gadgets to be used on airplanes, even without airplane mode being switched on.
