Can my Thai partner use the Belgium/Germany route?
My Thai girlfriend (44) and I (51 years old) are currently in a long-distance relationship. In the long term it is obvious that we will live together in the Netherlands.
My Thai wife is hesitant to do the Dutch integration as part of bringing her to the Netherlands for a long-term stay.
Netherlands visa question: Do you want to divert to the EU route (Germany) with my Thai partner?
Unfortunately I have to divert to the EU route with my Thai partner, as it is impossible for her to master the Dutch language. She has done more than her best. So unfortunately I have to give up that road. Then the next option remains open for us, I have a large apartment in Germany. I will officially live there for 6 months and build up a proof file with rental contract / receipts / tank receipts etc. etc. After 6 months I will return to my home in NL. Then I appeal to EU law and apply for an EU residence card for her for a long-term stay in NL.
Question about Thai partner to the Netherlands: Via the Belgium route or Germany route?
I have been talking to my Thai girlfriend from Bangkok for some time now. This year I want to go on holiday with her for a period of 3 to 4 weeks. After my stay I want to take her to the Netherlands for a maximum period of 90 days. During this period I want to get her to the Netherlands via the Belgium route or Germany route.
I have read something about the Germany route (or Belgium route) before. I myself have been living in Germany since last year and have my own house. Who can provide me with the latest status? And how?
