Mention the name of Chanthaburi province and the first thing most people will think of is fruit. The province is the supplier of durian, mangosteen, rambutan and many other fruits. But Chanthaburi is more than that, this province in the southeastern part of Thailand has a rich history and an abundance of cultural diversity.

A young couple, the Thai Nam and the Englishman Craig, told me yesterday about their experience of a long weekend at the Loft Hill Resort in Chantaburi, almost hidden in the forest.
