Reader question: Avoidance of double taxation

I live in the Netherlands and am going to Thailand for 4-5 months with a Non Imm “O” visa. For the extensions of that visa I have THB 800.000 on a fixed account (fixed for 4 years) at Krungsri bank. Thai tax is automatically withheld at the end of the term. Is this justified, because I live / am registered in the Netherlands?
