Those who visited the Royal Flora in Chiangmai could see the beautiful yellow tulip of Dutch origin, named after King Bhumibol. Yellow is the color of the Thai royal family and orange is a very well-known color intertwined with the Netherlands.

From 9 November to mid-February next year, flower and plant lovers can indulge themselves again during the flower and plant exhibition 2011 in the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiangmai. The last exhibition was in 2006 and the Thai government liked it so much that they decided to revamp the park and reopen it in its improved state on the occasion of King Bhumibol's 84th birthday.
