I live in Thailand and my Belgian pension is paid directly into my Thai bank account every month. For this I have the necessary proof from the pension fund and the Thai bank that this is my income and I use this to extend my retirement visa. In addition, I regularly transfer amounts from my Belgian to my Thai bank account that I use as savings or to pay for major expenses such as traveling in Southeast Asia, purchasing a car or motorcycle and others.
Thailand question: Transfer money without IBAN?
Can I transfer money in Thailand with my Belgian bank card (online) to a Thai bank account that does not have an IBAN code? So only BIC code and account number?

I have been living in Korat for 7 years, I come from Belgium. I use Argenta bank for my transfers from Belgium to Thailand. I was very satisfied with that. I have now received a message that Argenta will stop non-sepa transfers from 1 October 2020.
