Thailand Visa question No. 025/24: What is the best way to stay in Thailand for 8 months?
My question is whether it is possible to stay in Thailand for 8 months consecutively with my husband? We are not retired, but want to get to know Thailand well.
I have been in Thailand for 5 months now and have a retirement visa, age 53 and live with my girlfriend in her house. My question is what happens if I stay here for more than 8 months? What I read is that you are being unsubscribed. And you are then no longer insured in the Netherlands. But if I go back to the Netherlands later, can I just inform the health insurer again and still insure myself for the period that I am in the Netherlands or not? And register again with the municipality where I live that I will be there again for a while.
