Dutch golf enthusiasts and their guests are invited to participate in this fun and sporty tournament. This year we are guests at Eastern Star Golf and Country Club.

The game format is Texas Scramble Stableford with handicap adjustment. A format in which all players tee off. Then the best ball is chosen and the team continues to play from that spot. It is played in teams of four or three players.

From each player 4 resp. 5 turns are taken. The person whose tee has been taken may not take the next trick. So there are 2 resp. 3 exits free. Anyone on the team may putt when the ball is on the putting green. The Handicap to be played is the total Playing Handicap of all players added up and divided by 8 or 6.

Joost Luiten said the following about a Scramble competition: “The nice thing about a Scramble is that it is a team competition, golfers with high and low handicaps, men and women, everyone can play with everyone and have just as much fun”.

The program looks like this:

  • 10.30 -11.30: reception, with something sweet
  • 11.30 -11.45: group photo
  • 12.00 -16.30: start of tournament, with sufficient participation a double start
  • 16.30 pm - 17.30 pm: run-off tournament / opportunity to freshen up
  • 18.00 -19.20: buffet and prize giving.

The costs for this day are 1700 Baht for members, 1900 Baht for non-members and represent the Greenfee, the caddyfee, the Thai buffet and the organization costs. We leave the tip for the caddy to you.
