A Thai man has bled to death after asking his neighbor to extract his tooth. This was not done in the most sophisticated ways, but with a string attached to a stone.

Pree Namthip, 64, lay dead in his home yesterday, surrounded by some packs of painkillers. The man's niece, 29-year-old Mayuree Namthip, told police that her uncle had complained of a toothache a day earlier. Namthip then took matters into his own hands and called in the neighbour, who is a butcher by trade. For 20 Thai baht, the neighbor helped the patient.

He tied a string around the painful tooth and attached it to a stone. Then he threw the stone. The tooth came loose, but it bled profusely. Later died of his injury.

Namthip was afraid of the doctor and the dentist, a reason for him to call in his neighbour.

If it wasn't so sad, it would be a laugh... afraid of the dentist and doctor, but lets the neighbor "help" himself. He won't do that a second time.

    Firmly felt.

There might not have been so much wrong with that stone on a string, if the tooth was not so stuck that part of the jaw also came along with the tooth.
The problem is probably related to the painkillers, which may have caused the blood to become thinner and therefore prevent it from clotting.
A bit more difficult in your mouth with all that saliva.

It is of course an assumption, but probably he also consumed a bit too much lao chew…..
    together with the neighbour.
A sad story indeed, that you have to end like this.
The neighbor had better not take the 20 baht.
