Dear readers,

We are going to Thailand in September. We want to see a lot of nature there, but if necessary we don't have to go on an excursion every day. We also like a day of "lazing around".

Do you think our schedule fits or is it too full?

I would also like to get tips on how to travel from Khao Sok to Koh Samui?

day 1 fly to Bangkok
day 2 arrival Bangkok
day 3 bangkok
day 4 bangkok
day 5 Kanchanaburi (river kwai)
day 6 Kanchanaburi (river kwai)
day 7 Kanchanaburi (river kwai)
day 8 petchaburi
day 9 Petchaburi (elephant reserve)
day 10 Petchaburi
day 11 Khao Sok
day 12 Khao Sok
day 13 Khao Sok
day 14 Koh Samui
day 15 Koh Samui
day 16 Koh Samui
day 17 Koh Samui
day 18 Koh Samui
day 19 home

Yours faithfully,

John and Yolanda

Seems to work fine to me. There is a bus connection between Khao Sok and the port for the boat to Samui.

You go in the wettest part of the year, keep in mind that it can rain for days and transport is often delayed.

No, not too full a schedule and in my estimation you will spend days (or parts of the day) lazing around in almost every place you visit. Have fun!

Mi fine schedule, good to do! I would arrange a boat to samui in khao sok. Can be done in many ways, local bus to Surathani, from there to the port and then by ferry. But also by bus from khao sok. Good luck, have a nice trip!

7 different places to stay in 19 days, almost 1 in 3, that is easy to do and resembles a holiday.
    I would only postpone day 19 for a few days… 🙂
