Thailand question: Want to get in touch with a Thai woman?
Dear readers,
I would like to get in touch (for a relationship) with a woman from Thailand. I myself don't have much faith in those dating apps like Thaicupid because there are so many fake profiles on them.
Is there also a community in the Netherlands to get in touch with Thai women? Or suppose you go to Thailand, are there brokerage firms? I'm not looking for a flirt, but a serious relationship. I like to hear it.

Dear Bart,
Don't make it more complicated that it is, visit Thailand for about 3-4 weeks.
In this time you will meet many Thai women, the experience is that many women speak English.
Have a chat with a woman you like, in the supermarket, during a relaxing massage, in a bar, in a shopping mall etc, and go out for dinner/drinks to get to know each other better.
In Thailand they use the Line app instead of Whatsapp as in the Netherlands, it is comparable so make sure this app is on your phone and you can keep in touch with each other.
In this way I also did this in 2018 and have been living together in the Netherlands for 1,5 years now.
Bringing her to the Netherlands is another story, that is not easy, there is a whole process involved, but you can find enough information about that here on the website.

In any case, I have a positive experience with the ThaiCupid dating website.
In 2017 I created a profile containing information about me, hobbies, photo, etc
I also waited a while to respond to someone, but that turned out not to be necessary because within a week I had received dozens of responses.
What do you do… Well, you look at the photos, the profiles and I chose three ladies to chat with initially. After a few weeks I got the feeling that it was very serious with 1 of the three and I continued to chat with that one person on a daily basis. At one point, contact was made via Skype and after three months we agreed that I would come to Thailand for a month to get acquainted.
We then looked around in Bangkok for a few days and from there to Kanchanaburi and the surrounding area for two weeks. When the month was over we knew from each other that it was good and that we wanted to continue together. The following year I took a NoN-Imm-O visa and since then I have extended it every year for a year. During the corona period, I could still enter Thailand on that visa, provided that the well-known carantaine period was spent in a hotel. In 2021 I took the step to leave the Netherlands behind and now we have built a new house in her hometown where we are building a little paradise. Hopefully we will enjoy it for years to come.
Success is never guaranteed, but if you put your shoulders to the wheel together and take it seriously, success often results.
