Dear readers,

According to the ING service desk/site, we must report to an ING branch to add a 2nd account holder.

When my cousin's father died, the children could not go to his savings. They hired a notary, after a payment of € 700 and 3 weeks of red tape, they could go to his savings.

Now I thought to add my son as a 2nd account holder here in Thailand, but according to ING we have to report to an ING office. Do we have to go back to the Netherlands or are there other options from Thailand?

Regards,

Arnold

    Dear Arnolds,
if ING communicated this to you in this way, then I assume that it will also be the case. You may want to contact ING's head office and, if you get the same answer there, it must be the case.

you can easily add a second account holder. You do this online using the app on your phone. This is stated on the website: Your joint account holder who is not yet an ING customer can open the and/or account directly via the ING Mobile Banking App. You have a working account within a few minutes and can activate mobile payment immediately.

But you can also open a regular account with ING online via your app
