Thailand question: investment bank with good returns?
Dear readers,
Which reader has good experiences with a reliable investment bank where you get a good return on invested capital, fixed for a predetermined period, the invested currency in Thai baht or in Euros.
The question applies here to people with Thai nationality. The country where the investment bank is located may be Thailand, but also outside Hong Kong, for example. The intention is to generate a monthly or annual fixed income with this investment.
Regards,
John
Editors: Do you have a question for the readers of Thailandblog? Use it contact form..
Have very good experience with Julius Bär Bank. You can invest in € or SGD
I get between 8 and 14% interest and get that added monthly. Annual contracts..
Ask year NLer Jos Kleijne..
8-14% is exceptionally good. Can you give more details with which investment exactly you achieve this?
As mentioned, please contact NLer Jos Kleijne, from Julius Bär.. better explanation through him than through this site..
– 8 to 14% hard to believe.
– State guarantee ? A joke. For example, at ING alone they have guaranteed deposits for 53 billion euros. There is now a good 3 billion in the state treasury that must guarantee the guarantee.
– Real inflation currently minimum 10%.
Count out your profit!
Don't forget to tell them that you have to put in at least 1,2 million Euros as a minimum, an account
opening with a few thousand euros will not work.
Furthermore, the Swiss banks have been less attractive in the news lately.
In my opinion it is better to put your money in Thai gold (well hide it).
dear john.
all government-recognized banks in Thailand are reliable as in the Netherlands, just look at how much money you get back when the bank goes bankrupt, in the Netherlands that is 100000 euros.
I don't know how much in thailand and you get the normal interest rate for deposit , fixed , slightly higher than in the rest of the world , ask the bank , no matter which are all the same .
greetings Jan
Seems like a fantastic return, almost too good to be true.
May I ask what you invest in?
Would like to know what risks there are to get such a return
to obtain.
Dear John,
I myself have no investment experience in either Thailand or Honh Kong, but it seems a wise decision to contact experienced investment advisers and reliable account managers.
Let them submit their results in investing!
And even then none of them can guarantee a good investment result.
Stay on your toes and track all investment transactions for returns.
Dear Gerard,
Thank you for your response to my question.
In which place does the Dutchman with the name Jos Kleijne work? In Thailand or Switzerland.
The minimum deposit at Julius Baer Bank for an investment fund is not small: $ 1,2 million.
Is this correct ?
Dear Gerard,
I believe that such a return comes with a considerable amount of risk. That's okay if you know the risk and can live with it. You can invest a maximum of 20% of your capital in this way, I would say.
On the other hand, government bonds of NL or Germany are denominated in euros regarding the yield and the risk.
Careful I would say.
Dear Gerard, I know of others who invested and were paid exceptionally high interest rates in the first few months. Until they received the message that they had lost their invested capital. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Good luck!!!
Fixed saving account possible in Thailand, you just need to know where and how. Interest payment per month or quarter of 5% to 10% on an annual basis is possible. Minimum investment 50.000 Euro. If you want more information, send an email
Years ago read an article in TVF, now Asean now, that the Thai banks, repayment of money in the event of a fall is max 1000000 baht per account. That used to be 5000000 baht.
I don't know what they do when you have money spread over several accounts, so 10 accounts with a million baht. Because you actually have to have 10 bills to get everything back. So depending on your total capital. And Thailand is not so generous with bank accounts..
No idea how the really rich managed this
Thank you Alberto Witteveen for your response about obtaining a fixed saving account in Thailand. I would indeed like to know more about that, because that is exactly my question.
Does this solution apply to both farang depositors or also to people with a Thai nationality?
And is the deposit also possible in Thai baht in addition to euros?
That applies to everyone Thai or farang. Deposit in both Thai baht and various other currencies. If you would like to know more, please contact me via Facebook or send me an email. I have been doing this myself for more than 7 years and many other farangs with me.
Please provide your email address (don't have facebook)
my email is [email protected]
Dear Alberto Witteveen,
I am the one who has deposited the investment question on Thailandblog and am therefore very interested in learning more about your investment experience.
But I don't know how to get in touch with you.
Can you give me your E-mail address please?
I do not have Facebook.
