Dear readers,

I would like to take a Thai course in Chiang Mai. However, there are many providers and you can no longer see the wood for the trees. I'm not the youngest anymore, so I have a bit more trouble remembering.

Can someone recommend a good school?

Greetings,

Nicole

    The YMCA in Chiang Mai.
Can be found near shopping mall Kad Suan Kaew.

I did my first Thai course at AUA in Chiang Mai 5 years ago and was happy with the teaching back then.
However, a lot has changed at AUA in recent years, the Thai teachers seem very uninterested and the quality of the teaching leaves much to be desired.
I did a course at YMCA last year and that was much better, competent teachers and pleasant atmosphere.

    Success.

You can contact Khruu Mia Rongsiaw.
She is the owner of the site: http://www.learn2speakthai.net
She is based in Chiang Mai and, having lived in America, speaks perfect English.
I have followed lessons (Khruu Nok) at her office via Skype….writing…reading and talking..!!
Good luck with it…just start and keep going!!!
