Reader question: Who has experience with a hair transplant in Thailand?
Dear readers,
Who has experience with a hair transplant in Thailand? Turkey is currently the hotspot for hair transplants. Since Thailand has an excellent reputation in the field of aesthetic / plastic surgery, Thailand might be a good or even better alternative? Certainly to revalidate for a while.
Which hospital, which surgeon has an impeccable reputation? Can you tell us something about the price and the number of grafits? Then we have any idea to compare with Turkey.
Regards,
Jaak
Thailand's reputation in the field of cosmetic procedures is not that good at all. Technically they are excellent, but the aesthetic insight is really a lot less. Seen several times with friendly expats.
I don't know anything about hair transplants in Thailand, but I do know people who have had it done in Turkey. No face. I wouldn't start it. Bald is less bad.
Well, that's really a response from someone who doesn't understand it. (Sorry to say that).
There are many very good clinics and doctors in Thailand that use the latest techniques.
And…. I have had a hair transplant twice.
The 1st was still in the Netherlands, completely failed. But that was 40 years ago when everything was still in its infancy.
That failure made me postpone a 2nd hair transplant for a very long time.
If only I hadn't. Finally after much hesitation I decided to do it anyway.
From the list I made, I finally chose a clinic that had branches in both Bangkok and Pattaya.
I can only say that the service, the treatment, the aftercare and the price were perfect.
The operating room was better than what I had seen in Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. Sparkling clean with state-of-the-art equipment that semi-automatically “harvest” hair from the donor area. Then prepared in a special bath and then implanted again for years where it was needed.
I paid about 1.80 euros per hair. It could be cheap but I wanted the best treatment.
It was quite a sit, a total of 8 hours.
Within 10 days the wounds had healed and after 3 months the new hair started to grow. In my case it was very successful because almost no hair was lost. The result stunned me and those close to me who knew it.
I am very happy and proud and can recommend this to anyone who is suffering from baldness.
Maybe Turkey is good too, I don't know about that. However, remember “cheap is expensive” Success.
What kind of total amounts are we talking about? Just out of curiosity… I just do the clipper treatment, good enough for me. 😉
Can you also state the name of the clinic?
I have no experience with it. I did have a friend (a qualified nurse) who works in a hair clinic in BKK. Is a very good one
you can see it on FB
