Dear readers,

Will the borders remain closed to foreign tourists for the time being? And will only people with a work/residence permit or Thai nationality enter the country?

Regards,

Ralf

You obviously haven't followed developments, Ralf. You can now also re-enter Thailand as a tourist, even with a visa exemption for 45 days. However, you cannot escape 15 nights of quarantine - at your own expense, of course - and the necessary preparations such as a Certificate of Entry, a Covid test and a fit to fky certificate. You will find the necessary information on the website of the Thai Embassy.

It has long been possible for tourists to visit Thailand. Why would you think otherwise? All kinds of visas have been devised for this: for example, the 3×90 day visa for 3×1900 baht! Better read the newspapers!
    Goodbye

    haha Ralf,
You must have gone into hibernation at the end of October, because then it was already mentioned on Thailand Blog that it was possible to apply for a 90-day visa.
I myself am already considering applying for an extension, vw the dormant permanent Covid19 rules in the Netherlands.
    Welcome to Thailand
