Home » Reader question » Reader question: Can I return to the Netherlands in an emergency?
Dear readers,
Since there are almost no flights left, what to do if you have to go to the Netherlands for family reasons? And if you can already find a flight, what about the extra corona rules when you come back to Thailand?
Now the flights that are offered are canceled again and again. Or is it advisable to arrange this through the embassy if necessary.
Regards,
Sjaak
You can go to Amsterdam twice a week with KLM, and daily with Qatar via Doha. Depending on where you are in Thailand, it can be difficult / impossible to reach Suvarnabhumi.
Put the KLM App on your phone.
Then you can see which flights there are.
You can only book a one-way ticket.
Return is not possible.
Just try the KLM App.
You are Dutch.so you always get away.
Hans van Mourik
PS. If you go on the day you leave and press the day you want to return, you will receive an answer.
Sorry there are no flights.
If you only do a one-way trip, then you can, on top you can also see which dates
Hans van Mourik
Does that mean that you can travel back from the Netherlands to Thailand? As far as I know, only foreigners with a work permit are still allowed to enter Thailand.
Ton is correct.what.jr.says.
But if.you.have.been.tested.for Covid19 by a doctor and have it legalized by the thai.embassy + a ZkV of 100000 dollars.it.could.be.
Previously KLM departed at 12.30:XNUMX pm Bangkok_ Amsterdam.
Now at 22.30:7 PM this is because KLM is only allowed to park their planes at the airport for XNUMX hours.
They now fly with double crew, because of mandatory rest times.
Hans van Mourik
@Hans, if I do this, how long is the certificate valid? Or can this also be arranged in the Netherlands when I return.
PS. Last part I know, because my ticket was at 12.30 and was changed to 22.30.
Canceled it completely. Requested and received a voucher, because I am afraid that I will not be able to come back or with great difficulty.
Hans van Mourik
We have decided not to do anything until May 22. We would travel to Brussels today April 23 with turkish via istanbul..
Flight already canceled at the beginning of April.
Do wait.
