Reader question: BVN switches to Asiasat 5

Dear readers,

This topic may have already been discussed, but BVN is switching to Asiasat 5! For years I had a satellite dish, bought through PSI, and aimed at Thaicom 5.

BVN reports that my current dish is also suitable for receiving Asiasat 5. I do need a satellite receiver that is suitable for DVB-S2.

Can I get it through PSI or do I have to go elsewhere? Who has experience with that?

Thanks.

Regards,

Tony

Dish is so 2000s…. If you have access to reasonable WiFi, go to the ustreamix.com website
All the channels you could wish for. Apart from a lot of money, you also save yourself a lot of indoctrination by BVN.

Bad advice with these sites Ustreamix and many others you are sure you will get a lot of unwanted sites, know what you are getting into,
VPN or an android box safe and good 🙂
Furthermore, your dish needs to be re-focused on Asiasat, cost no problem? 600/800 baht

Dear Brabant man, I tested your link. I use vpn and a good virus scanner + firewall of course.
Despite this protection, I was immediately bombarded and linked to all kinds of unsolicited vague websites and sales sites.
My advice: Take iptv, then you don't have this mess and problems.

    Hello BVN viewers,

I have found that there are no or few Thai channels on the AsiaSat 5.
A solution; a new satellite receiver with WiFi? So for BVN Live!
Can the Thai partner just see the Thai channels. At least if the
batteries of the Thaicom 5 can be replaced in time.
    John.

    Do you have Wi-Fi?
    Download the BVN Live app.
You can view everything on your tablet or computer.
    Best regards.
