Dear readers,

Is there a set rule in Thailand (Chiang Mai) regarding the collection of household waste?

One week, the household waste is collected almost every day/night; after that it sometimes takes several days before the next garbage is collected.
Is this an exception or a rule?

Please answer this question.

Regards,

Wim

With us, Nong Hoi, ironing and setting every Monday and Thursday; collection days will of course differ from district to district.

Depends entirely on the area where you live.
With me in Sansai (I live in a moobahn Laguna) it is arranged by the moobahn. The amount is included in the service costs.

In my previous neighborhood they came by regularly and the bill was settled monthly by the residents themselves.
