Dear readers,

I am looking for bus connections between Chiang Mai and Cha-am for a befriended couple (who do not have a computer).

The man had understood that a VIP bus also runs between these places, but he still has not been able to find out whether this VIP actually drives between these places and how expensive the tickets are?

I searched for a while, but couldn't find anything there (or I didn't search hard enough). I hope – and that couple even more so – that you can help.

In any case, thanks for any effort.

Yours faithfully,

Ineke

Daily VIP buses depart from Hua hin to Chiang Mai soi 96 is the station just past the Lotus.
Both during the day or at night.
It is advisable to make a reservation.
There will really be a possibility to stop in Cha am .

And so the buses also run in the opposite direction. It is no problem to get out on the way, provided that the driver is notified. Passengers who do not complete the entire journey must pay for the entire journey. The price of a ticket is around 900 baht.

The bus connection between Hua Hin and Chiang Mai can also be used with the Greenbus, which has a special VIP and large seats on one side, two aisle seats, and one seat.

Small addition; I did the ride last week. The bus departs from the Arcade Bus Station in Chiang Mai. At terminal 2 you can buy the ticket for 856 Baht p/p. Look for the big sign with the destinations, so Hua Hin. One bus at 18:30 PM and second at 19:30 PM.
Real VIP bus with flight attendants who pass out water, coffee, biscuits. Only 1 stopover around midnight where you get a meal from an extensive self-service buffet in a VIP room. Included in the price upon presentation of the ticket. Book in advance!
Arrive in Cha-Am after 12 hours of buses! He then stops at the hiway at the Narathip Road.
I am very satisfied with the trip. Good trip.:
