How do I get in touch with a nice lady in Thailand?
Dear readers,
I am looking for a nice lady, possibly for a relationship, and am currently in Thailand, near Pattaya, for a 3-week holiday. I'm not looking for a woman from the bar circuit, not because I don't think they are enough, but I'm afraid that some of them have already become too jaded by the hard life in that business. Tinder is also not an option because it is also about the money after the deed, to put it bluntly.
Now, I have tried a few times to approach someone, such as a waitress, but that has not been successful, sometimes because they already have a 'boyfriend'. I also experienced that a lady I met in a store did not speak a word of English or did not dare to do so.
Does anyone have a tip for me?
Regards,
Ron
Editors: Do you have a question for the readers of Thailandblog? Use it contact form..
Perhaps through the circle of acquaintances of people who are already married to a Thai? In every family there is a single lady somewhere who is also looking for a good farang.
Google Thai dating site.
Ron,
“take the plunge”!
Just go there and if she speaks a little English, that's a bonus. And the lady can indicate whether she is already “busy”.
If it doesn't help, then it doesn't hurt.
But don't expect miracles for 3 weeks of “company”. And hopefully she can also act as a guide.
Good luck with your search
7 years ago I met my current wife on the dating site ThaiCupid.com
That site is still active and has loads of Thai ladies looking for…
But I feel like that remains a lottery and I have the main prize...
greeting and success
Ferdinand
Ron, how old are you and where are you from, what is or was your profession? These are questions my wife's acquaintances ask... and a photo!! There are plenty of unmarried women here around Ubon Ratchantani who are looking for an honest man and certainly not a bar type.
Ron, that shouldn't be a problem... If you want, I can put you in touch with my in-laws and my ex-sister-in-law who now lives separately from her Thai husband and who might be interested. I think she must be around 50 now, has one daughter and she speaks a little bit of English. A real farmer's daughter from Isaan Nakhon Phanom, but very far from Bangkok near the border with Laos. They live there 300m from the Mekhong River. There is now also an airport nearby so no more hours of bus rides like I used to! If she is not interested, she certainly knows others in her village who would like a “farang”. A hardworking farm girl.

I met my girlfriend on asianfriendfinder.com
Together for 8 years now and a 5 year old daughter.
Just make sure she has the right intention
If after 1 or 2 messages they start talking about money or sick family or broken mobile phone, then it is best to stop immediately
Dear Ron,
If you can provide some more information about yourself, together with a photo, I can put you in touch with a friend of my Thai wife in the Korat area.
She speaks some English. She is looking for a neat person and not a bar type.
I have a good tip:
First of all, you need to install the LINE app on your phone, tablet or computer.
Sign up for a paid Thai dating site.
Take a short-term (1 month, 3 months) subscription.
Connect with reliable looking women.
You put the women who seem reliable on your wish list.
Share your LINE account with the women you want to get to know better.
You can then delete your account from the dating sites.
Success.
