The whole of Thailand was anxiously awaiting the result of the Miss Universe 2015 election last Sunday. All expats and tourists were also curious, because Thailand certainly has the most beautiful girls in the world!

Inquiries with the SVB show that the single rate of payroll tax for people living abroad and from whom only payroll tax is withheld has been increased from 2015% to 5,1% as of January 8,35.

With a budget airline you can fly quickly and cheaply to, for example, the neighboring country of Myanmar. A beautiful destination with an authentic culture.

I was very surprised when I went to visit the Floating Market on Soi 112 in Hua Hin yesterday morning (the only floating market because the other one is bankrupt). I was asked at the entrance to pay and that was not wrong: 200 Baht! This started from new year.

Is it possible for a tourist with a Dutch driving license (or in combination with an International driving license) to apply for a Thai driving licence? And can I travel in Thailand as a tourist with an International Driving Permit for the time being?
And is this also allowed with a borrowed car from an acquaintance?
