As I understand it, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha recently made a proposal for a new visa regime.

Proposal A: A multiple-entry visa, valid for 6 months (cost 5000 Baht).
Proposal B: A tourist visa with a single entry, which is also valid for 6 months. (cost 1000 Bath).
