In 1980 I came to Thailand for the first time. I traveled extensively in the Middle East and then was sent to Bangkok to negotiate a cooperation contract with a Thai firm. That was not so easy, so I traveled there again a few times. My Thai hosts sometimes took me to Pattaya on weekends.
I would like to present the following to you. I am a 32-year-old physio/manual/hand therapist and my husband (also a 35-year-old physio-manual therapist) and I are thinking about living and working in Thailand. We both have 10 years of full-time experience, mainly in private practice in the Netherlands.

I want to immigrate to Thailand after I receive my pension on August 12, 2016. I don't have 400.000 and of course no 800.000 THB in a Thai account because I have always financially supported my children living in Thailand.
A strange thing, internet banking was refused to me at GSB bank. I have my pension deposited there every month as of 01-01-2016. I also have two fixed accounts there. I also have an account with Krungtai and Kasikorn bank where I can use internet banking.

In Belgium, the travel organization Connections currently has a promotion for Bangkok at € 379 return. This appears to be with Ukranian Airlines, Brussels – Kiev – Bangkok and return. The connections in Kiev are good, between two and three hours. Drinks and meals on board are not included. Does anybody have experience with this?
