I myself have been living in Thailand for a long time and now my Dutch girlfriend (58 years old) wants to come to Thailand for 5 months. She has already been to Thailand twice with a tourist visa of 60 days + extension. I think the best is a 6 month visa with costs of 150.00 euros.

My wife regularly calls her family in Thailand. At least she tries. For this she uses the so-called “cheap” 0900 numbers. Div, providers from 1 cent p/m. Unfortunately too often bad connections. Communication is very bad. I think it is intentionally wrong. So you have to call again and again.

I want to draw your attention to the Swedish film 30 degrees in February. A series about Thailand, a total of three seasons of 10 episodes per season. You can download the first two seasons via spotnet (newsgroups) or watch the series via Netflix. Shots were made in Pattaya Walking Street and Phuket. I've only seen the first two episodes and I think it's funny.
