New floods around Bangkok (video)
Hallo,
I wonder if the Netherlands is not interested in the flood, we experienced it ourselves!! Come on Dutch government show “Interest and sympathy about this rather bad disaster in the “Land of Smiles” !!!!!!!!
Western countries have no regard for this disaster here. At the time with Katrina for the US, everything was done to assist the Americans. Now that it concerns Asians, people are left out in the cold. In Belgium or the Netherlands, people are not aware of this disaster. I'm in it myself, first fled from Ayutthaya, now in Bangkok (Safe????, don't know)
There is not a single Western country that is interfering in the disaster in LOS.
There is real misery here
Indeed, European governments currently have other things on their minds than Thailand. Harsh but true. Should Europe collapse because Thailand is so important? Wake up please! What do you want the Netherlands and Belgium to do? Come and drink the water so that it runs out of the streets? The damage has been done and can only be resolved once the water has been drained to the sea. There's plenty going on behind the scenes, don't worry about that! And don't bring in Katrina every time or Japan, that was something completely different. I'll say it even louder: We all went to live in Thailand and we know how it works, so don't squeak afterwards!
This was known to happen one day and it happened! Should have been realized ten years ago. First people emigrate, away from the Netherlands, because everything is bad there and the same beeps now that the Netherlands is not helping….The world turned upside down!
I think you're high and dry
has nothing to do with emigrating, providing assistance to those who need it.
I will make my own plan, the 8 million others may not.
That's what it's about.
Turkey earthquake I heard, aid funds will already be directed to help this future Islam country of the European Union.
that comment is enough for me. You have heard that Turkey had an earthquake, but the emergency funds are ready. you think or are sure reading your blog that no one is helping Thailand? How do you know? I'm dry and my girlfriend has lost everything! so I do know what's going on. Come up with solutions? Does Thailand really want to be helped? I have no answers, but what needs to be done to prevent this misery! But we all know that
indeed, Marcos, I agree, everyone knows the solution, but how and who and when will it happen.
I am sorry that your friend has lost everything, she is not alone.
ok, small consolation, we have also lost a lot and many Thais have also lost a lot.
US has donated 15 million baht, I read today in Bangkok Post, alms.
Aircraft carriers were standing by in the Gulf of Thailand, the commander was just waiting for confirmation that the Thai government was asking for help.
No help was requested.
Understand who wants to understand
Can Obama not spontaneously offer help?
Do you know Luc: In this misery there are only losers!
I just put it all in perspective.
I live 75 km from trat and here dry no wet feet but abnormally much rain.
something needs to be done about that less air pollution. the poles are melting large blocks of ys
fall and sea the size of a football field, and that melts and the sea rises.
I haven't heard anything about that yet, the beaches are now the size of this and the small sandbank worries me. I saw this coming a long time ago. Because I spend a lot of time swimming at the sea. stood in the sea. Where there used to be a stone house, is now close to the sea, so the house is gone. All this must wake people up
the biggest polluter diesel without particulate filter, also .that makes so much pollution
and also carcinogenic, I always ride here on my motorcycle with a Tinco mask
If everyone knows it's that bad, and it is, think of the red cross. Fortunately, they are now receiving the donations well. And the press in the Netherlands has been paying attention to it for days (albeit on a small scale). The radio now not only talks about Turkeye but also about Thailand. What strikes me is that the Thai people here in the Netherlands don't talk about it at all!! When we say that the images are so sad, they nod with a smile and start talking about a Another topic.
Thai prefer to avoid a confrontation.
