I'm also surprised, my wife is Thai, we often receive cards with a PIN code for debit card payments and you often see people helping each other and then shielding everything in the Netherlands.
So you can assume that Thai people can be trusted more

Rob why do you have to think like that? Because he cannot spend money in his room, so there is no need to use his debit card. Maybe these 3 people go to a restaurant for food. And he is helped by the women with pins from a Thai device. They can read and translate the text.
For safety reasons I prefer the dogs and not the apparently Thai ladies, that can only make you worse off.

I have a sweetheart of a Thai woman, for more than 20 years and I trust her with my pin code. In fact, she's known it for years. But the couple in the photo in combination with that man don't look good, at least that's my assessment and I could be wrong of course. So I have no direct experience with it, but fortunately I am not retarded and do know what is going on in the world.
