A remarkable find at a village of Maha Brahma in Ayutthaya: More than two tons of unused condoms in all kinds of colors.

Residents in the area came to the smoke. There had been an attempt to burn the mountain of condoms. This was successful with about half of the illegal dumping, the Bangkok Post reports.

According to research, it mainly concerned unbranded condoms, but a number of packages were found of the brand: 'New Silk'. These condoms are manufactured by Okamoto Industries in Japan. The same company has an office Pathum Thani.

Villagers saw an Isuzu pickup truck driving by that probably left the condoms there. The police believe that the batch had to be destroyed because there could be trademark infringement. Inquiries are made at the company in Pathum Thani.

The find is remarkable, because not so long ago a large amount of condoms were also found along the road in Pathum Thani, see: www.thailandblog.nl/opmerkelijk/zee-condooms-pathum-thani/
