Different views on relationships

During a survey of Thailand Visa, without scientific substantiation, they noted a few nice comments about love in the broadest sense of the word.

The number of people who finally answered the reader survey was 422 people. It was not asked whether it was a married couple, foreigner or Thai. The age was not stated and whether the stay was temporary or permanent.

Remarkably, 15 percent of the respondents said they had sex about 20 times a month and that 12 percent didn't get around to it at all! A fifth of those questioned did not find a mia noi (a concubine) a problem. In Bangkok, that number was higher to 26 percent.

A quarter of the people thought camaraderie was more important than sex, although 5 percent of them thought passion was very important. In general, half of those surveyed indicated that a relationship was based on true love.

About 13 percent of those surveyed said they enjoyed being in a relationship.

It also appears that many expats mainly stay at home and go out little.

In short, a non-binding investigation into what was neither fish nor meat. Cucumber time in journalism in Thailand!
